While Dark Shadows fans await the DVD or Blu-ray release of House and Night of Dark Shadows (rumored for the same time that the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp version is released on disc), Amazon has made the first film available as a digital download for either rental or to own. House of Dark Shadows, of course, is a retelling of the original Barnabas Collins storyline from the soap — but with the ending that series creator Dan Curtis originally intended. I want it on Blu Ray with all the bells and whistles….
Too bad they didn’t record a directors commentary with Dan Curtis before he passed away…I like the director’s commentaries too…
I guess it will end up being Kathryn if they have one now…
