While speaking to MSN.com, actress Michelle Pfeiffer admited that she finds vampires sexy — particularly the first vampire she was exposed to: Barnabas Collins on the original Dark Shadows. ”It was the first vampire I remember, and vampires have always been, and still are, kind of sexy,” said Pfeiffer, who, of course, is playing Elizabeth Collins-Stoddard. ”I don’t know why. But as a young girl – I think I was about eight – I found it quite scary. Dark Shadows when we were small was a little bit naughty, a little bit taboo, a little bit dark, a little bit sexy. It was rather racy for afternoon TV.” For more, click HERE.

That’s curious. Ms. Pfeiffer remembers “Dark Shadows” as naughty, taboo, dark, sexy and racy – no mention of “funny” at all….

yeah, imagine that…
I actually quite like Michelle Pfieffer and I hope that it doesn’t reflect badly on her if this thing bombs.
I am usually a big Tim Burton fan as well…I was really looking forward to this and I was just not expecting or wanting a gonzo comedy from this particular property and that’s what has been bugging me so much about it.
